METRO EDGE FIGURE SKATING CLUB

Our Mission:
The mission of Metro Edge Figure Skating Club (MEFSC) is to provide skaters with the opportunity to achieve excellence in skating and competition, to participate in a team spirit of mutual respect and goodwill, to enjoy the time it takes attaining their skating goals.

MEFSC is home to St. Louis Synergy Synchronized Skating Teams. Since its inception, Synergy has strived to achieve the highest levels of competition while providing a fun and exciting skating experience from beginning skaters through those on Team USA. St. Louis Synergy Junior was last in the ISP during the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons and was last named Team USA in 2015 where they represented the US in Saltzburg, Austria. The ISP includes junior- and senior-level teams who meet criteria approved by the U.S. Figure Skating International Committee. These teams are eligible to be considered for assignment to international competitions and if assigned represent the United States as Team USA.

MEFSC hosts several events through the year. The largest annual events are Nutcracker on Ice and the Meet Me in St Louis Competition.

MEFSC and St. Louis Synergy primarily utilizes as our home rink the Webster Groves Ice Arena, which is part of the City of Webster Groves Recreation Complex in St. Louis, Missouri.  In addition, some synchronized skating practices are held at the Brentwood Ice Rink, Maryville University Hockey Center, Pacific Ice Rink, and Centene Community Ice Center.
