The Second Annual Skate-A-Thon has been scheduled for Friday night, November 2, 2007;  Mark Dirsa (dad of Spiral/Blades skater, Susie Dirsa) has been busying planning fun events for this year's fundraiser  --  wait to you hear everything he had added and has planned -- it will be so much fun -- and our generous Dad's Club has donated prizes for this event --  watch for further information on the event, but save the date!!

The Skate-A-Thon is not a required event -- it is one way in which families can raise money to be applied to the $100.00 per family fundraising requirement;  the idea behind the Skate-A-Thon is that i is an event in which the skaters have to do the work --  unlike many other fundraisers where the parents do all of the work --  it keeps the skaters involved -- and they are so proud once they finish skating --  comments like, "Wow, that was fun -- I didn't know I could skate that many laps!" were heard last year -- Parents, you will be amazed at how many laps they can skate once they know they are earning money for each lap skated!!
