Saturday, October 6th Beginning at 7am

The Metro Edge Synchronized Skating Teams are having a garage sale... a HUGE garage sale.  How many kitchen appliances do you have in the basement?  What about items in the Garage - not to mention the attic or spare room....well, now is the time to clear the clutter for a good cause.  It's like "Clean House" for the Synchro Teams.

On Saturday, October 6th (raindate Oct 7th), we will sponsor a multi-family garage sale in the parking lot of the Webster Rec Center.  Each Metro Edge family will receive a number, and you will use that number on all your items when you price them.  Then bring your items, already priced and with your family number, to the sale early (VERY EARLY) Saturday morning.  We will start the sale around 7am, and we need the items ready to sell by then. 

We will keep a running total of your donation (and this does count toward the $100 per family synchro fundraising requirement).  When your garage sale total reaches $300 - the rest of the money goes to your skater's account.  This applies to all Metro Edge Skaters and coaches if you want to participate.

So what do you need to do:

1.  Check the bulletin board at the rink for a list of all our MEFSC team families.  You'll see your "Family Number" next to your last name.  Just put a check mark in the box indicating you are planning to send items for the sale.  Ifyou have any questions, please email me  libbystorts@yahoo.com    (For your convenience, I attached the Family Number list to this email--so you can start marking your items today).
2.  Skaters and parents, volunteer a couple hours to work at the sale.  You can indicate the times you'd like to work on the same list on the bulletin board.  We need skaters to help after Synchro Practice, too!
3.  Clean out the house, garage and grandma's house and bring your garage sale items early Saturday morning.  They need to be priced with a sticker that includes your asking price and your family number.

You can use any sticker to mark your items--See the sample below.  You must include your FN (Family Number) and what you are asking for the item.  Keep the price of the item in whole dollars or quarters—that will help us with change. 

Whatever does not sell by 2pm will be donated to charity.  The charity truck will come and pick up all the remaining items.
