Skating
members of MEFSC are required to have completed and signed membership
and medical release forms, copies of their insurance card, US Figure
Skating membership card and ISI membership card on file.
As a member of the Metro Edge Figure Skating
Club (MEFSC), members enjoy many advantages. Benefits include:
Skaters can advance via the test sessions held at different time periods
throughout the year. Skaters can advance in level only by passing test
requirements judged by US Figure Skating-certified judges. By using
certified judges, the US Figure Skating upholds an overall high standard
for tests that are consistent in all US Figure Skating-sanctioned clubs
and skating rinks in the United States.
*SKATING is the official publication of the US Figure Skating and
is considered the premier magazine in the world of figure skating today.
The magazine, which is published 10 times a year, is a four-color,
newsstand quality publication available to all US Figure Skating members
and subscribers. SKATING features news and profiles on national and
international athletes, reports on national, international, World and
Olympic events, guest editorials, columns on health and nutrition,
readers' polls, sponsor news, event schedules, ticket information, and
music and choreography tips.
