It is with pleasure
that the Metro Edge FSC Board announces that the Club will once
again, be awarding financial scholarships to assist skaters in
pursuing their skating goals. MEFSC has awarded scholarships to
skaters for the past several years and is pleased to continue
this tradition. The scholarship fund is funded each year by
receiving a portion from fundraising events such as our resale,
competition raffles, the lemonade stand, selling mulligans at
golf tournaments and more. Thank you to all the volunteers that
make this possible each year!
All home club Metro
Edge FSC members are eligible to apply for a scholarship.
Members may apply themselves and/or coaches or fellow members
may submit applications on the behalf of a skater. The number
of, and dollar amount of each scholarship will be based on the
assessed needs of the applicants and funding available.
Applications are due
by October 1st. An application is attached for your
convenience, these will also be available at the rink in the
Metro Edge files to the left of the bulletin board.
